Description
UN-approved and explosion-proof lithium-ion (transport) case for storage and transport of lithium-ion batteries. Lithium-ion cases ensure a safe storage environment. Both for storage and transportation the cases provide safety. Should a battery ignite or even explode, it is limited to the contents of the case. The unique feature of the cases is that lithium-ion batteries can be charged. A notch on the side allows a cable to be inserted. This is convenient for storage and during transport.
Storage and transportation of good, but certainly defective batteries, must be done safely. This lithium-ion case protects the environment in the event of an emergency. Fire and explosions stay inside the case. The pressure created is discharged through a pressure valve on the front. Both good and defective batteries should always be transported by road in ADR 9 packaging. The lithium-ion case is certified for ADR class 9 and thus complies with the regulations. During storage and/or transport, it is possible to charge a battery in the case. Through a notch on the side of the case, a charging cable can be inserted. With also a small notch at the top, there is enough space and the cable does not get damaged. In the cases, depending on the size, 1 or more fire-retardant bags are included . For transporting or storing defective lithium-ion batteries, these bags offer an additional fire-retardant effect.
