Description

SafetyLoad chain tensioner with shortening hook and flap hook G80, Ø 8 mm. The Grade 80 load tensioner is equipped with a roll-out protection with (shortening) hooks and a safety pin. The load tensioner ensures that the preload force is passed on to the lashing chain in a controlled manner. When tensioning a heavy load, a load tensioner is essential. The Grade 80 load tensioner with a diameter of 8 mm is mainly used in combination with a Grade 80 tensioning chain. There are different grades of steel from which lifting chains can be made, including Grade 80, Grade 100 and Grade 120. These are the tear resistance grades of steel for use in lifting chains, steel cables and other similar structures. The higher the grade, the higher the tear resistance of the material. Grade 80 steel is one of the most commonly used materials for lifting chains and is well suited for most applications. It is strong, durable and has excellent corrosion resistance. However, it is not suitable for heavy and dangerous applications where the lifting chain must be loaded under high tension.

The load tensioner meets all legal safety requirements and is manufactured according to the CE standard and EN 12195-3 standard and comes standard with a product certificate (TÜV/GS certified).
