Description
SafetyLoad 2-piece load tensioner, Ø 8 mm. Essential when tensioning heavy loads. The 2-piece load tensioner/chain tensioner consists of a combination of a load tensioner and a lashing chain. The load tensioner, equipped with roll-out protection, has an eye hook and a notch hook. The cargo tensioner can be easily connected to an attachment point using the flap hook. The lashing chain has a flap hook on one side, while the other side must be inserted directly into the captive hook of the chain tensioner. The notch hook is equipped with a safety pin, which allows the chain to be adjusted to any length. The grade 80 load tensioner with a diameter of 8 mm ensures that the prestressing force is transferred to the lashing chain in a controlled manner. There are several grades of steel from which lifting chains can be made, including grade 80, grade 100 and grade 120. These are the tear resistance grades of steel for use in lifting chains, steel cables and other similar structures. The higher the grade, the higher the tear resistance of the material. Grade 80 steel is one of the most commonly used materials for lifting chains and is well suited for most applications. It is strong, durable and has excellent corrosion resistance. However, it is not suitable for heavy and dangerous applications where the lifting chain must be loaded under high tension.
The cargo tensioner meets all legal safety requirements and is manufactured according to the CE standard and EN 12195-3 standard and comes standard with a product certificate (TÜV/GS certified).
