A storage and transportation product used daily and found everywhere is the pallet. When looking for the right pallets for your business, you need to think about several specifications. The material, size, pallet type and condition. Do you buy new pallets or do you go for previously used pallets? To be able to make this choice, you obviously want to be familiar with the differences between new and used pallets. That is why we will go over the differences between new and used pallets in this blog.

Used pallets

Pallets that have been used before and are no longer needed by one entrepreneur, for example, can support another entrepreneur for years to come. Advantages of used pallets:

Disadvantages of used pallets:

  • - May show signs of usage
  • - Your desired pallet type might not be in stock as used

 

Quality of used pallets

At Kruizinga we only buy back and purchase used quality products, this allows us to guarantee the functionality and quality of our used pallets. The used pallets are therefore also immediately usable when you receive or pick them up.

 

Of course, there are different states in which used pallets are offered. When we receive the used pallets, we record their condition and take photos. The photos clearly show all signs of use. Therefore, always read the description with used products and view the photos, so you will never be surprised.

Sell used pallets

At Kruizinga you can offer used pallets. Perhaps you no longer use them or have switched to other materials or sizes. In such a case, you can give the pallets a second life, helping to reduce environmental impact.

New pallets

New pallets can be ordered in a variety of sizes, types and materials. These pallets have no signs of use and can therefore be made completely your own.

  • - Can be ordered in bulk
  • - Fast delivery, if in stock

 

Disadvantages of new pallets:

 

  • - More expensive
  • - Less sustainable
  • - Longer delivery time, if not in stock

 

Do you see the differences?

The pictures show the differences and similarities between a new and used pallet. These are both EPAL pallets of 1200 x 800. The used pallet has a few slight signs of use, however, the two are very similar.
